I’m excited to share that I will be traveling to Pattaya, Thailand with Freedom 4/24 this November! We will be partnering with Beginnings Foundation to work with survivors of sex trafficking. We will also facilitate Christmas parties for girls that are still working in the red light districts in Pattaya.
My heart desires to serve for a mission that seeks to prevent and end sexual exploitation and human trafficking, especially in Thailand. My mother is from Thailand and she shared with me her memories of the beauty that Thailand holds, but also the dark parts of Thailand that are still happening in today’s society. It is with deep gratitude that God has blessed me to live freely in the United States. I feel empathetic towards the women and children in Thailand, living in a place that would’ve been my homeland, who are currently involved in the human trafficking. It is a calling for me to give thanks to God by sharing the good news of Jesus Christ, and to bring compassion and care for the people of Pattaya.
2 Peter 3:9 says “The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.” God’s heart longs to bring everyone into relationship with Him through repentance and faith. He has entrusted believers to spread the gospel throughout the world. I have received and believe the word to share it with those who need to know that they are loved and worthy because of God’s goodness.
